Leverman Interview Questions

1 What have you found to be the best way to move levers to position dredges for excavation, to engage hydraulic pumps, to raise and lower suction booms, and to control rotation of cutterheads?
2 Describe a method to start power winches that draw in or let out cables to change positions of dredges, or pull in and let out cables manually. Share an example.
3 Walk me through how you lower anchor poles to verify depths of excavations, using winches, or scan depth gauges to determine depths of excavations.
4 Describe a time when you successfully serviced, repaired, or tested a machine or device that operates mainly by mechanical principles.
5 Share an experience in which you've successfully learned how to handle a new piece of equipment?
6 Tell me about a recent experience you've had working with your hands.
7 What is the most challenging part of directing or assisting workers placing shore anchors and cables, laying additional pipes from dredges to shore, and pumping water from pontoons?
