Plumber Interview Questions

There are 3 different sets of questions for this title
1 Tell me about an experience in which you analyzed information and evaluated results to choose the best solution to a problem.
2 Describe your approach to effectively measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe to required angle, using hand or power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, or pipe-bending machines.
3 Describe methods you have found helpful to study building plans and inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.
4 Walk me through how you would locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, or fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers or levels.
5 Share an experience in which you've successfully learned how to handle a new piece of equipment?
6 Tell me about a recent experience you've had working with your hands.
7 Tell me how you organize, plan, and prioritize your work.
8 Give me an example of when you thought outside of the box. How did it help your employer?
9 Tell me about the last time you monitored or reviewed information and detected a problem. How did you respond?
10 Share an experience you had in dealing with a difficult person and how you handled the situation.
11 Share an example of when you went above and beyond the "call of duty". (Look for answers that show the candidate is dependable.)
12 Share an experience in which your attention to detail and thoroughness had an impact on your last company.
13 Provide an example when your ethics were tested.
14 Provide an example of a time when you successfully organized a diverse group of people to accomplish a task.
15 Share an example when you filled pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observed pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
